St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception School is looking for a part- time Math teacher.  This person would be involved in the following roles:

  • A Grade 5–8 Math Intervention Teacher provides targeted support to middle school students who need additional help developing foundational math skills and improving academic performance. This teacher works with students individually or in small groups to close learning gaps, build confidence, and support success in grade-level mathematics.

  • A Grade 8 Pre-Algebra Teacher instructs middle school students in foundational algebraic concepts and prepares them for success in Algebra I and higher-level mathematics. The teacher creates engaging lessons that develop students’ problem-solving, critical thinking, and mathematical reasoning skills while supporting a positive classroom environment.

  • A K–8 Computer Teacher provides students with instruction in computer literacy, digital citizenship, and technology skills appropriate for elementary and middle school grade levels. The teacher helps students develop foundational technology competencies, problem-solving abilities, and responsible digital practices that support academic learning and future readiness.

A typical day for this teacher is math intervention in the morning followed by Pre-Algebra. This teaching position could be combined with our afternoon computer classes to make a full time position.
