The School District of Tomahawk is located in north-central Wisconsin, approximately 40 miles north of Wausau.  The district serves the city of Tomahawk and the surrounding townships with an approximate population of 11,800 residents. Tomahawk is a friendly small town surrounded by more than fifteen lakes and flowages with thousands of acres of publicly accessible forests, offering many recreational opportunities.
