Summary:
To manage the district’s building automation systems, HVAC mechanical systems, and provide guidance and physical inspections for the district’s energy program. To help support the building principals, the Director of Maintenance Operations, and the Director of Custodial Operations in providing safe and efficient facilities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include:
• Performs various maintenance activities through the district work order system.
• Manage the building automation systems throughout the district to help ensure energy savings and a comfortable environment.
• Perform district energy audits on a regular basis.
• Help manage the maintenance supplies and equipment.
• Follows employee handbook for the maintenance personnel.
• Actively seeks to improve Buildings and Grounds within the district
• Other duties as assigned by the Director and Manager of Facilities.
• Assists with the district snow removal needs.
• Receive and respond to any emergency calls as needed.
• Must maintain a valid Wisconsin driver’s license and insurability.
• Coordinates with outside contractors as needed.
• Helps manage district wide HVAC systems.
• Perform plumbing repairs and maintenance throughout the district.
• Support the Head of Grounds in snow removal using various equipment.

Desired Minimum Qualifications (Experience, Education, Certificates, Licenses and Training):
• Preferred five-ten years of HVAC experience.
• Excellent communications skills both written and verbal.
• Must be able to demonstrate ability to interact with all levels within the School District.
• Must have strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Must be able to work independently as well as within a team.
• Experience in a school district setting is highly desirable.
• Working knowledge of all physical plant operations.
• Graduation from high school, associate degree in related field preferred or related job experience.
