If you are highly experienced with drive and passion and enjoy coordinating with staff and students to ensure network performance can meet or exceed the needs of the Wheatland J1 School District, we have the perfect job for you! Wheatland J1 School District is looking for an experienced Network Specialist who has the bandwidth to oversee our day-to-day network operations. In this role, you will collaborate with our data and technology team to maintain the physical technology systems of the District. You will help design our network, install new hardware and software when necessary, train staff on upgrades, and monitor the system as you implement system-wide technology solutions. The Network Specialist will have an associate degree or post-secondary training appropriate to the position or equivalent experience. Experience in K-8 environments preferred. About Wheatland: The Wheatland J1 School District is a pre K-8 school district with approximately 100 employees, and 590 students. The district covers over 30 square miles and incorporates 4 municipalities. Wheatland attracts students from all over the area and strives for educational excellence in a results oriented, improvement focused educational system.
