Reports to: Activities Director

Responsibilities:

Plan and organize activities
-
Provide training direction, encouragement, and motivation in order to prepare participant for events.
-
Identify and recruit potential participants.
-
Plan strategies and choose members for events.
-
Plan and direct programs that will enable participants to achieve maximum performance.
-
Adjust events, based on the strengths and weaknesses of participants.
-
Keep records of events.
-
Instruct individuals or groups in strategies, and principles.
-
Evaluate participants’ skills and review options for other events.
-
Keep abreast of changing, techniques, technologies, and philosophies relevant to their activity.
-
Monitor participants use of equipment, including explaining and demonstrating the use of equipment to ensure safe and proper use.
-
Develop and arrange schedules and programs.
-
Explain and enforce safety rules and regulations.
-
Serve as organizer, leader, and instructor.
-
Perform activities that support the individual or group of a specific activity, such as meeting with media representatives and appearing at fundraising events.

Arrange and conduct activities, such as camps, skill-improvement courses, clinics, and in needed try-outs.
-
Select, acquire, store, and issue equipment and other materials as necessary.
