The Boscobel Area School District is seeking a Long-Term Substitute English Language Arts (ELA) Teacher for grades 8–10, beginning approximately February 2027, to cover a maternity leave.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, dependable educator who can provide a positive, supportive classroom environment while helping students continue to develop their reading, writing, and communication skills.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

• Create and maintain a positive, engaging classroom environment.
• Follow the regular classroom teacher's instructional plans and learning goals.
• Support student learning in reading, writing, and language arts.
• Encourage participation and learning among students of all ability levels.
• Demonstrate effective classroom management and build positive relationships with students.
• Maintain student confidentiality.
• Work collaboratively with school staff and families.
• Hold a valid Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (DPI) substitute teaching license, at minimum. A teaching license is preferred.
