Position Summary

Fall River School District, along with Rio School District is seeking a motivated, dedicated, and knowledgeable Head Softball Coach to lead and develop our high school co-op softball program. The ideal candidate will promote "we before me" team culture, sportsmanship, accountability, and academic success while fostering a positive and competitive environment for student-athletes.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and lead all aspects of the high school softball program.

• Develop and implement practices, game strategies, and player development plans.

• Promote sportsmanship, discipline, teamwork, and respect among student-athletes.

• Support the academic success, personal growth, and overall well-being of student-athletes.

• Communicate effectively and professionally with players, parents, school administration, and coaching staff.

• Supervise and coordinate assistant coaches while establishing a positive, collaborative coaching culture.

• Maintain compliance with school district policies, athletic department expectations, and applicable state athletic association rules.

• Oversee the care, use, and maintenance of team equipment and facilities.

• Participate in program development, offseason planning, and youth program initiatives as appropriate.

• Demonstrate professionalism and serve as a positive role model for student-athletes.
