The School District of Spring Valley is seeking a part-time

 Assistant Child Care Teacher

Qualifications:

At least one of the following: 

1.   Be at least 18 years of age and have satisfactorily completed 2 credits in early childhood education or its equivalent within 6 months after assuming the position. 
2.   Be at least 18 years old and have satisfactorily completed one, non-credit department-approved course in early childhood education (Intro to the Child Care Profession) within 6 months after assuming the position.

Candidate must also pass the child care background check and other requirements of the WI Department of Children and Families.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Work with the Lead Teacher to supervise and interact with children during enrichment activities, choice times, and recreation both indoors and outdoors.
• Create safe environments for children.
• Demonstrate imagination and resourcefulness in working with assigned students.
• Able to communicate with parents and families effectively.
• Plan and implement activities.
• Bring a positive attitude and be able to have a good time.
