The Two Rivers Public School District has an opening for the position of Network and Hardware Specialist.
Description:
The Two Rivers Public School District has an opening for a District Network and Hardware Specialist. The role of the
Network and Hardware Specialist is maintaining computer and network equipment in operating condition; meeting the
technology needs of the school district; documenting information and resolving immediate operational and/or safety
concerns.

Network and Hardware Specialist is maintaining computer and network equipment in operating condition; meeting the
technology needs of the school district; documenting information and resolving immediate operational and/or safety
concerns.
Duties:
- Provide on-site and remote support for the entire district.
- Install, configure and upgrade hardware, operating system, and application software.
- Manage IT infrastructure including WiFi, VMs, backups, firewall, and imaging.
- Manage and maintain Microsoft Active Directory and Google for Education Admin.
- Perform other tasks or assume other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Associate Degree or equivalent relevant experience in IT support.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work with adults and students. – Working in educational setting is a plus.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and exhibit adaptability and flexibility.
- Apply innovation where applicable to optimize IT workflows.
- Ability to work collaboratively to problem-solve
- Excellent troubleshooting skills.
- Familiarity with the following is preferred:
o Network Security/Firewall Policies
o PBX Phone systems
o JAMF mobile device management
o Active Directory / Group Policies
o Ubiquiti Network Infrastructure
o Nutanix -VMware
