Full Time
The School District of Random Lake is seeking an experienced, full-time Lead 1st Shift Custodian to join our facilities team. The selected individual will serve as a key point of contact for daily building operations during the school day, demonstrating employment stability, strong leadership, the ability to work efficiently both independently and alongside team members, and a proactive approach to maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for our students and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead daily 1st shift custodial and facilities operations across district spaces.
- Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and safety throughout the building.
- Perform routine minor maintenance activities.
- Identify and communicate complex facilities needs or repairs that go beyond the scope of daily duties directly to the Director of Maintenance.
- Coordinate daily setup/takedown for school activities, and after hours events.
- Be flexible, open to new tasks, and ready to jump in where needed.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated record of employment stability and reliable attendance.
- Proven custodial, janitorial, or facilities maintenance experience.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while prioritizing daily tasks.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly team oriented attitude.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Pay Rate: $25.00+ based in qualifications and experience.
