The Evansville Community School District (ECSD) is a PreK-12 District located in historic Evansville, Wisconsin. The ECSD educates approximately 1,600 learners in an elementary, intermediate, middle and high school. The ECSD believes in the equitable distribution of all students in general education environments. The Varsity Cheer Coach will provide direction and oversee the EHS Cheer Program. Coaching candidates will be expected to have a visible commitment to our student-athletes and to the ECSD, while exhibiting strong interpersonal and leadership skills. The ECSD is looking for coaches who have a great ability to build relationships with participants and the community. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate the ability to coach and motivate participants in order to grow, not only with their technical skills, but in the classroom as well. Teaching skills, technique, and team concepts will be valued alongside instilling character traits that will push every student-athlete to become high character young adults. An emphasis will be placed on creating a positive experience for the student-athletes and being an ambassador to the entire Evansville cheer program.
