The Bangor School District is seeking a dynamic, student-centered Middle/High School Vocal Music Teacher (1.0 FTE) to join our middle/high school faculty. This educator will provide engaging and high-quality music instruction through middle school general music and choir, high school choir, jazz choir, musical theater productions, solo and ensemble opportunities, and seasonal concerts. With access to our newly renovated performing arts facilities, the successful candidate will have an exciting opportunity to build upon our strong music traditions while expanding student participation, creativity, and appreciation for the performing arts. This position will initially be filled as a long-term substitute teaching assignment, with the potential to transition into a permanent, full-time position second semester.

The ideal candidate will bring a passion for music education, a vision for growing and enhancing our vocal music program, and a commitment to creating meaningful performance opportunities for students. This educator will collaborate with colleagues through the Professional Learning Community (PLC) process to deliver a guaranteed and viable curriculum aligned with the Wisconsin Academic Standards for Music, support high levels of student achievement, and contribute positively to our school community and culture. Strong communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills are essential.
