Job Summary

Green Bay Catholic Education- GRACE is seeking a passionate and energetic Daycare Teacher to inspire and nurture young children in a dynamic early childhood education environment at our Little Saints Daycare. This position must be available to work as early as 7AM or as late as 5PM Monday Through Friday. The daycare teacher must supervise and ensure the safety and wellbeing of the children at Little Saints Daycare. Enrich Little Saint’s children throughout the day through activities, meal/snack times, teaching, and working with parents.

Core Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor the safety of children
• Prepare and organize snack/mealtimes for children
• Change diapers of infants and toddlers
• Organize activities and develop curriculum to expand children's knowledge and help prepare them for the next level of education
• Keep records relating to the child's day
• Provide guidance or appropriate discipline to children
• Monitor children for health, behavioral, and emotional issues and reporting these issues to the proper staff or parent
• Aide children in keeping a daily routine
• Develop and encourage age-appropriate learning activities
• Work with parents to help children reach educational and behavioral goals

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• CPR Certified
• Practicing Catholic who is actively involved in the Catholic community is preferred

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk, stand, sit, and frequently bend or twist at the neck and trunk. The employee will use the hands to feel objects, tools, or controls. The employee must regularly safely lift up to 20 pounds and occasionally exert or lift up to 40 pounds. Successful performance requires specific vision abilities that include close vision, distance vision, and peripheral vision
