St. Matthew School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic 5th Grade Teacher to join our school community. We are looking for an educator who is passionate about helping students grow academically, socially, and spiritually and who is committed to creating a positive, faith-filled classroom environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan and provide engaging, developmentally appropriate instruction for 5th grade students.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse academic needs of students.
• Establish and maintain a positive, structured, and supportive classroom environment.
• Support students' social and emotional development.
• Incorporate Catholic faith, values, and service into daily classroom life.
• Assess student learning and use data to guide instruction.
• Communicate regularly and effectively with families regarding student progress and needs.
• Collaborate with colleagues to support student learning and the mission of St. Matthew School.
• Participate in school Masses, faith formation, professional development, and other school activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education or a related field required.
• Wisconsin teaching license preferred.
• Strong classroom management and instructional skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to differentiate instruction and meet the needs of diverse learners.
• Commitment to integrating Catholic faith and values throughout the school day.
• Practicing Catholics are encouraged to apply.
