The School District of Beloit Turner is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapy Assistant beginning with the 2026–2027 school year. This position serves students from preschool through age 21 with a variety of skill levels, motor and sensory needs, and requires a high degree of independence, flexibility, and innovation in implementing occupational therapy strategies and services. Under the direction and supervision of the Occupational Therapist, the Occupational Therapy Assistant is responsible for implementing treatment and intervention activities, supporting students’ functional and educational needs, and collaborating with school staff and families as appropriate. The successful candidate will have knowledge of adaptive equipment and familiarity with exceptional educational needs, demonstrate the ability to implement individualized strategies and supports, and possess strong communication and organizational skills. The Occupational Therapy Assistant will work collaboratively with the Occupational Therapist and IEP team to support students’ participation, access, and independence within the school environment.
