The School District of Beloit Turner is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist beginning with the 2026–2027 school year. This position serves students from preschool through age 21 with a wide range of abilities, motor and sensory needs, and educational needs. The Occupational Therapist must demonstrate a high degree of independence, flexibility, creativity, and innovation in developing and implementing strategies that support student access, participation, and independence within the school environment. The Occupational Therapist is responsible for evaluating students’ functional capabilities and limitations as they relate to their educational needs; planning, organizing, and providing occupational therapy services; and collaborating with educators, related service providers, students, and families. The OT will provide consultation, modeling, and education to school staff and families as appropriate to support student success. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of adaptive equipment and assistive technology, familiarity with exceptional educational needs, and the ability to develop practical, individualized strategies to address students’ motor, sensory, self-care, and functional needs. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential, as the Occupational Therapist will be an active and collaborative member of students’ Individualized Education Program (IEP) teams.
