The Kewaskum School District is seeking a highly organized, professional, and proactive Executive Assistant to support district leadership and serve as the District Communications Coordinator. This key role provides administrative support to the District Administrator, School Board, and Business Manager/Human Resource Director while helping ensure effective communication with staff, families, and the community. The ideal candidate is a collaborative, service-oriented professional with exceptional organizational skills, discretion, and attention to detail. They are an effective communicator, skilled at managing multiple priorities, building positive relationships, and anticipating needs in a fast-paced environment.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide executive-level administrative support to district leadership.
  • Coordinate and support School Board meetings, communications, and records.
  • Manage calendars, schedules, correspondence, and confidential information.
  • Serve as the District Communications Coordinator, overseeing district messaging and community engagement.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and official district documents.
  • Coordinate special projects and district events.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for staff, families, and community members.
  • Support Human Resources and business office functions as assigned.
  • Associate degree and/or relevant experience.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Maintains valid notary public commission.
  • Special ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff members and the public.
  • Two years of experience working in a school district.
  • Experience with communication processes.
  • Familiar with state laws regarding school policies and student confidentiality.
