Position Details
- Assists K-12 curriculum coordinators and department chairs in creating, organizing, balancing, and maintaining department-level budgets at each of the secondary building levels, including ordering supplies, curricular materials, and subscriptions; scheduling and registering for conferences; and supporting department level initiatives as needed.
- Utilizes Skyward to effectively process budget approvals, purchase orders, and p-card reconciliations.
- Communicates with department chairs and curriculum coordinators to maintain an ongoing schedule in which to support budgetary needs and operations and any department initiatives that require clerical support, organization, or data entry (History Day; Field Trips/student trips, etc.).
- Knowledge of and ability to execute various applications in Microsoft and Google to create brochures, programs, newsletters, charts, and graphs.
- Welcomes visitors to the main office and assists them to get to the correct location.
- Answers phones, transfers calls, and takes messages.
- Serves as a member of the front office staff filling in and covering other roles as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- $18.00 per hour.

WHAT IT TAKES
- Graduation from high school or its equivalent with training in office methods, procedures, and organization.
- Proficiency in all Microsoft and Google applications.
- Ability to prepare accurate and complete records and reports.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective public and working relationships.
- School or office work experience including bookkeeping or record keeping responsibilities.
- Knowledge of computer applications.
- Previous secretarial experience preferred.
