Position Details

Morning, Mid Day, and Afternoon Routes- Approximately 4 hours/day
Part Time
Pick up and discharge authorized students only at authorized stops. Observe all mandatory safety regulations for school vehicles and traffic laws. Maintain discipline of students and report discipline issues to supervisor. Adhere to the assigned time schedules. Attend safety meetings to keep up with current laws. Report all accidents, vehicle defects, and any hazardous road conditions to the transportation supervisor. Maintain a clean vehicle inside and out. Must follow District rules, procedures, and policies.
Person hired must possess a valid Wisconsin Driver's license. Ten years of regular driving experience preferred. A responsible driving record is required. Ability to maintain student discipline, as defined by District Policy, while in the vehicle. Interpersonal skills to deal courteously, cooperatively and effectively with students, teachers, administrators, co-workers and the public. High School graduate preferred.
COMPENSATION: Wage will be in compliance with the employee handbook for the length of time driven. The hours will vary from day to day and week to week depending on the number of students and their transportation needs. The actual students who are in need of transportation will change throughout the year.
