NOTICE OF VACANCY

FULL TIME SPECIAL EDUCATION AIDE POSITION

The Hayward Community School District is accepting applications for the 2026-2027 school year for a FULL-TIME SPECIAL EDUCATION AIDE.

Athletic and Co-Curricular positions are available.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:

●       Work experience with school-aged youth with mild to severe disabilities

●       Ability to communicate directions to students with varied ability levels

●       Ability to work semi-independently to implement the curriculum and support instructions with students

●       Ability to obtain WI Special Education Program Aide License

●       Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally

●       Ability to be flexible in working with students and staff

●       Assist with changing students

●       Other duties as assigned

WORK SCHEDULE:  Family friendly Calendar – Monday-Friday. Full Time position: 7.25 hours/day

RATE OF PAY: $17.15/hr.
