DeForest Area School District is located just ten miles northeast of Madison in Dane County.
We offer outstanding facilities and a positive work environment. We are seeking Lifeguards for our district pool, 2-8 hours per day as needed, 15 hours per week (may be more or less depending on programming).
Duties include:
• Supervise/lifeguard pool deck operations during scheduled programs
• Monitor state of the facilities and equipment
• Keep facility clean
• Keep deck areas clear and safe
• Complete records and reports as assigned
• Assist in checking in members and swimmers
• Attend staff meetings as directed
• Additional duties as assigned
Must hold current certification in: American Red Cross Lifeguard Training, First Aid, AED and CPR for the Professional Rescuer.
Ability to enforce rules and assist participants in a friendly, respectful manner.
