The Erin School District is seeking a full-time School Psychologist to join our team and support students in a highly collaborative and student-centered environment. This role blends the traditional responsibilities of a school psychologist with elements of school counseling, providing opportunities to work with students individually and in groups across all grade levels (K-8). The ideal candidate will be passionate about fostering academic success, social-emotional growth, and positive mental health in students.

Position Overview:

In this position, you will be responsible for monitoring student progress, analyzing data to guide interventions, and leading special education referrals and evaluations alongside the Director of Pupil Services.

You will also provide one-on-one and small group counseling for students needing social-emotional support, facilitate student groups focusing on skills such as emotional regulation and conflict resolution, and work closely with teachers and administrators to implement behavioral and academic interventions. 

Additionally, you will play a key role in crisis intervention, offering real-time support to students and collaborating with families and community agencies to ensure a comprehensive network of care.

Qualifications/Requirements:

The ideal candidate will hold a Wisconsin School Psychologist license and a Master’s degree in School Psychology (or a related field). Strong communication and leadership skills are essential, along with a deep commitment to supporting students academically, socially, and emotionally.

Essential Job  Duties/Responsibilities:
 
🔹 Academic & Behavioral Support
  • Lead data-driven interventions to help students succeed academically and socially
  • Assist in the development and evaluation of multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS)
  • Provide leadership in functional behavioral assessments (FBA) and behavior intervention plans (BIP)
🔹 Mental Health & Social-Emotional Learning
  • Design and implement school-wide mental health initiatives
  • Provide one-on-one and group counseling for students
  • Offer professional development for staff on social-emotional learning and trauma-informed practices
🔹 Collaboration & Leadership
  • Partner with teachers, administrators, and families to create student-centered learning experiences
  • Advocate for inclusive and culturally responsive services
  • Work closely with community agencies to coordinate student programming
