The 4th Grade Teacher will be able to create an environment that fosters learning and innovation. The successful teacher will prepare students for advanced education by encouraging them to explore learning opportunities and to persevere with challenging tasks. Dual-certified Special Education is a plus. Candidate must hold or be able to obtain current Wisconsin Department of Instruction License.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the needs of all students
- Evaluate student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
- Maintain a positive classroom environment that promotes learning and respect
- Communicate regularly with parents to keep them informed of their child's progress
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum and improve teaching practices
- Attend school events and participate in school-wide activities
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in education or related field
- State teaching certification in elementary education
- Strong understanding of child development and effective teaching strategies
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to ongoing professional development
- A passion for teaching and a love for children

The Wheatland J1 School District is a pre K-8 school district with approximately 115 employees, and 650 students. The district covers over 30 square miles and incorporates 4 municipalities.
