- 3 Years or more experince in Facilities and Maintenance leadership or related fields

1. Operations & Facilities Management
-
Oversee the daily maintenance, cleanliness, heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), plumbing, electrical, and structural systems of all district buildings.

Ensure all campus grounds, athletic fields, parking lots, and walkways are impeccably maintained, including managing seasonal demands like snow removal.

Manage, schedule, and evaluate custodial and maintenance personnel, fostering a collaborative, efficient, and positive team environment.
2. Sustainability & Energy Management

Manage and optimize the district’s green energy infrastructure, including existing solar power initiatives and sustainable facility practices.

Coordinate with external resource partners (such as Focus on Energy) to identify, secure, and implement energy-efficient technologies and financial incentives.

Promote building management best practices that lower operational costs while maintaining an ideal learning environment.
3. Capital Project Planning & Budgeting

Formulate and manage the annual Buildings and Grounds operating budget.

Develop, update, and execute a comprehensive Long-Range Capital Improvement and Preventative Maintenance Plan.

Prepare specifications for major maintenance or construction projects, manage bidding processes, and oversee contracted services to ensure high-quality compliance.
4. Safety, Compliance, & Emergency Response

Ensure district compliance with all local, state, and federal safety regulations (including OSHA, EPA, and building codes).

Act as the point of contact for district-wide facility security, fire protection, and environmental testing (e.g., air and water quality).

Serve as the primary responder for facility-related emergencies outside of normal school hours.
