Fall River School District is seeking a motivated and student-centered individual to serve as an Assistant High School Wrestling Coach. The successful candidate will support all aspects of the wrestling program while helping develop student-athletes both on and off the mat.
Responsibilities
- Assist the head coach with daily practices, competitions, and team activities
- Teach and reinforce wrestling fundamentals, sportsmanship, teamwork, and character
- Help monitor athlete academic progress and promote student success
- Assist with supervision of student-athletes during practices, meets, and travel
- Support program organization, communication, and equipment management
- Promote a positive and inclusive team culture aligned with school values
- Follow all school, conference, and state association policies and procedures
Qualifications
- Previous wrestling coaching and/or playing experience preferred
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Ability to build positive relationships with student-athletes, families, staff, and community members
- Current First Aid/CPR certification or ability to obtain
- Successful completion of all district hiring and coaching requirements
