Lodi High School is accepting applications for a high-quality, engaging Physical Education and Health teacher. Candidates must be flexible and willing to work with students of all ability levels. The position requires the candidate to teach a variety of Physical Education classes and Health classes.
The ideal candidate holds a valid Wisconsin teaching license in Physical Education and Health, and has a background in adapted physical education. The candidate should demonstrate a passion for helping all students develop lifelong habits of wellness, fitness, teamwork, and personal responsibility. The ideal candidate will create an engaging and inclusive learning environment that promotes physical activity, health literacy, and positive relationships while meeting the diverse needs of high school learners. Strong communication skills, effective classroom management, and the ability to build meaningful connections with students, families, and colleagues are essential. Candidates should demonstrate a commitment to collaboration, school involvement, and fostering a safe and respectful environment where all students can grow academically, socially, and physically.
Requirements:
- Experience working with middle and/or high school students
- Appropriate certification for secondary Physical Education and Health (1910 - 1530 - 1860)
