School Counselor- Shared between West De Pere Intermediate and Middle Schools

- Must possess or be eligible for Wisconsin DPI School Counselor certification #7054 

The School District of West De Pere is seeking a dynamic, highly-motivated counselor for grades 5–8 who brings a consistent positive attitude and the flexibility to adapt to evolving student needs. The ideal candidate is a collaborative professional who remains focused on student outcomes and approaches challenges with a solution-oriented mindset. We value staff members who maintain professional composure and dedication to the school and district missions.

Successful candidates will have working knowledge of the Wisconsin Comprehensive School Counseling Model and social emotional learning initiatives. Understanding of Trauma-Sensitive Schools practices and being able to support families by collaborating with community stakeholders along with familiarity of referral pathways to mental health care is vital. 

Responsibilities may include:

• Providing classroom developmental guidance lessons

• Providing individual and small group counseling to meet educational, personal, and social needs.

• Consultation with teachers, parents, administrators, and outside agencies to support students
