Description 

The Darlington Community School District is looking for a passionate Tech Ed Teacher to help shape the next generation of builders, makers, and innovators. 

We aren’t just maintaining a program; we’re actively building for the future. We need a candidate who is ready to inspire middle and high school students through a curriculum rooted in craftsmanship and modern industry standards. 

Key Responsibilities 

● Instruction: Deliver an engaging and evolving Tech Ed curriculum for middle and high school students. 

● Program Innovation: Lead the design of this new position by identifying community needs and student interests to create unique, modern learning experiences outside of traditional shop classes. 

● Career Leadership: Provide mentorship and leadership for students by fostering professional growth 

Qualifications 

● Valid Wisconsin DPI License in Technology Education. 

● Extra certifications will be considered. 

● Construction/Carpentry background preferred. 

● CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) preferred. 

● Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills. 

● The ability to build positive relationships with students, local tradespeople, and the community. 

● An innovative, student-centered mindset with a desire to build a program from the ground up.
