School Social Worker - Full time, regular position. 

The School District of West De Pere currently has a full-time opening for a social worker beginning with the 2026-2027 school year. 

WI DPI certification as a school social worker (7050) is required.  The primary responsibility will be to provide a variety of counseling, support, and services to students and families to assist students in coping with personal and psychological issues that affect their school performance, behavior, and socialization.

The following are essential:

• Strong communication skills with an emphasis on working within a team structure;
• Ability to embrace a collaborative leadership role; 
• Skills to facilitate/participate in a consultative problem-solving process as a vehicle for planning, implementing, and evaluating mental health services, and the skills needed to communicate with staff, families and community professionals

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. 

• Performs casework services with individual students to solve problems in areas of personal, social, or emotional difficulties interfering with their educational and social development.

• Works collaboratively with school personnel, community service providers, and families in assessing, planning, establishing, and implementing services/interventions for student

• Serves as a liaison between the school, family and community;

• Coordinates School-based mental health services;
