4K Teacher

St. John Bosco Catholic School in Sturgeon Bay is seeking a full-time 4K Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. St. John Bosco is a 4K-8 Catholic school providing academic excellence in a caring, Catholic environment where God’s gifts are nurtured and faith is put into action.

Position Overview:

The ideal candidate will lead a 4K classroom by providing developmentally appropriate instruction while maintaining a structured and caring learning environment and fostering strong relationships with students and families. The ideal candidate brings patience, creativity, and a love for early childhood learning, along with a willingness to support and model Catholic values.

Responsibilities include:

• Implementing daily lessons that promote early literacy, math readiness, social-emotional growth, and hands-on exploration.

• Maintaining classroom routines, expectations, and procedures that ensure safety, consistency, and positive behavior.

• Communicating clearly and professionally with families, staff, and administration.

• Participating in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities as required.

• Supporting the Catholic identity and mission of St. John Bosco Catholic School.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field

• Valid Wisconsin teaching license (or eligibility to obtain)

• Experience working with young children, preferably in a classroom setting

• Commitment to supporting a faith-based educational environment

• Strong communication skills, flexibility, and a nurturing disposition

• Must be a practicing Catholic
