Full Time

Duties of the Position: The ideal candidate demonstrates strong expertise in developing and implementing IEPs; including conducting evaluations, monitoring student progress, and maintaining compliance documentation. They possess a deep understanding of early childhood development for children ages 3–5, with the ability to design engaging, play-based, and developmentally appropriate instruction that supports growth across cognitive, social-emotional, communication, and motor domains. The candidate works collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team—including SLPs, OTs, PTs, school psychologists, classroom teachers and paraprofessionals—and builds positive, effective partnerships with families and caregivers. Additionally, the candidate utilizes positive behavior supports, social-emotional learning strategies, and inclusive practices to meet the needs of diverse learners, including those with autism and developmental delays. Must enjoy working with children and have a positive attitude. Must be flexible. Be a team player, strong work ethic and a love of children.

Degree/Special Training Required: 1809 (Early Childhood Special Education); Special Consideration could be given for those that have the 7071 (Early Childhood) and/or bilingual

Work Schedule of the Position Monday-Friday; 7:15-3:15; plan and facilitate IEP meetings
