The Antigo School District is seeking a Physical Education Teacher to deliver engaging, standards-aligned instruction that promotes lifelong fitness, wellness, and healthy decision-making. Key Responsibilities

• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate Physical Education and Health lessons aligned to Wisconsin standards
• Promote fitness, skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship through structured activities
• Teach topics including nutrition, mental health, personal safety, and wellness
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs
• Maintain a safe, positive, and organized learning environment
• Assess and monitor student progress in physical skills and health knowledge
• Communicate with families regarding student growth and participation
• Collaborate with staff to support district-wide wellness initiatives

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Health Education, or related field
• Valid Wisconsin DPI teaching license (or eligibility) in Physical Education and Health
• Strong classroom management and instructional skills
• Knowledge of student development and health education best practices

Preferred

• CPR/AED/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Commitment to student wellness, equity, and engagement
