General Responsibilities:

1. Supervise all Dance Team activities.
2. With help from administration and the dance board, determine a budget for the dance team and stay within the established budget.
3. Hold tryouts
4. Ensure that all members have completed the proper registration prior to the first performance.
5. Organize and schedule practices and performances. Distribute a schedule of such activities to each member.
6. Coordinate pep rallies, parades, and other activities.
7. Supervise the ordering, distribution, and collection of uniforms.
8. Work with the athletic administration to secure transportation to out-of-town activities.
9. Ensure that safety precautions are observed during all activities.
10. See that district policies are observed during all activities.
11. Coordinate and supervise fundraising activities.
12. Obtain advance approval from the Activities Director for all activities, practices, performances, and expenditures.
13. Adhere to all district health and safety policies
14. Other duties as assigned by the Activities Director, Principal, or other Administrative Staff.
