Full Time
Marinette School District is now accepting applications for a full-time Maintenance position. The position will assist with maintaining the physical school buildings in a condition of operating excellence so that all students in the district have a safe, clean, attractive, and smoothly functioning physical learning environment.
Responsibilities Include:
- Making routine electrical repairs and tests electrical installations periodically to ensure safety.
- Make routine plumbing repairs.
- Assume responsibility for daily opening/closing of facilities
- Inspects machines, engines and equipment to maintain district equipment in good working order
- Moves furniture and equipment as needed
- Maintains and inspects pools, water filters and related equipment
- Performs various tasks including landscaping, mowing, trimming, edging, and snow removal
- Performs athletic field and irrigation system maintenance
- Works in compliance with all safety regulations and standards
- Other responsibilities as assigned

- High School diploma or equivalent
- Current WI drivers license
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to take initiative in problem-solving
- Ability to work collaboratively with other maintenance personnel, district staff, and administration in a team oriented environment
- Strong HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry skills
- Knowledge of roofing and building envelope maintenance
- Ability and knowledge to operate and service facility and grounds equipment
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate and timely records
- Basic computer skills and working knowledge of HVAC control software, and work ticket software
