Full Time
River Falls School District is seeking an energetic, innovative, and student-focused educator to serve as full-time Student Success Teacher at River Falls High School beginning with the 2026-27 school year.
 
The Student Success Teacher plays a vital role in supporting the academic, behavioral, and social success of students. This position serves as a key liaison between students, staff, and families, helping to foster a positive school climate and ensuring all students are supported in reaching their full potential.

Student Impact:

This position is critical in ensuring that every student, especially those requiring additional support, feels connected, supported, and empowered to succeed. The Student Success Teacher will directly influence student outcomes by removing barriers to learning, strengthening relationships, and building systems of support that promote both academic achievement and personal growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the academic and behavioral development of identified students

  • Collaborate with teachers, counselors, administrators, and families to support student success

  • Monitor and respond to student attendance concerns

  • Support teacher growth and development as a behavioral coach

  • Serve as a Tier III interventionist, including teaching a leadership and success course

  • Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and supportive building culture


The ideal candidate will have:
* Hold a current high school teaching license issued by the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction in any content area (Alternative Education or Administrative License desired).
* Able to maintain a positive and structured learning environment.
* Have strong interpersonal, collaborative, and communication skills.
* Have experience working in an educational setting with diverse student populations.
* Demonstrated ability to create positive relationships with students, parents, colleagues and the general public.

The top candidate will be offered a competitive salary. The position is eligible for a strong benefits package that includes health, dental, life, and long-term disability insurance, as well as, paid leave and participation in the Wisconsin Retirement System. The position begins on August 17, 2026.
