Full Time

The Drummond Area School District is looking for a creative and innovative teacher that would like to teach courses focused on students using technology to develop life long skills with a strong technology background. This individual would be responsible for a wide range of course offerings. This position would offer potential courses in various levels of construction, small engine repair, welding and/or blueprint design for 6-12 grade students. This position requires a student focused, task orientated, organized, positive and flexible person with a strong desire to help students succeed academically. 


The Technology Education position requires, but is not limited to the following: 

  1. Wisconsin Certification #1220 - Technology Education (required) or ability to obtain
  2. Ability to create positive relationships with students and their parents/guardians 
  3. Ability to work cooperatively with students, staff, administration, and the community 
  4. Experience in developing, writing and evaluating curriculum preferred. 
  5. Knowledge of career clusters (pathways) and ability to work with Career and Technical Education Department colleagues to help implement. 
  6. Ability to be innovative in teaching. 
  7. Ability to work with challenging students and students of all ability levels. 
  8. Willingness to pursue and acquire Project Lead the Way certification. 

Qualifications
