Community Elementary School is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Elementary Physical Education Teacher who is committed to providing high-quality, developmentally appropriate physical education experiences for all students (5K - 5th grades). The ideal candidate understands and effectively implements the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (WI DPI) Physical Education Standards and uses them to design engaging, inclusive, and purposeful instruction that supports students’ physical, social, and emotional development.

This role centers on creating a positive and welcoming learning environment where every child feels successful, motivated, and excited to participate in physical activity. The PE teacher will intentionally plan instruction that reflects students’ developmental norms, builds foundational movement skills, and fosters lifelong habits of physical wellness. A strong commitment to reflective practice, continuous improvement, and positive relationships with students and colleagues is essential.
