Position Summary:

The candidate will be able to deliver lessons for General Music to  students in grades 4-8. This is an excellent role for candidates enthusiastic about music and  looking to gain hands-on teaching experience in a collaborative and welcoming school environment.

Candidates hired will be referred to Kelly Education, the district’s substitute staffing partner, for onboarding and employment.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver General Music lessons to students in grades 4-8.
  
  

• Supervise students in classrooms, hallways, lunch, and recess
  
  

• Maintain a positive and respectful learning environment
  
  

• Adapt to a variety of classrooms, grade levels, and instructional content
  
  

• Communicate with school staff and administrators to support classroom continuity
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree required (Education-related field preferred but not required)
  
  

• Must be eligible for or hold a valid Wisconsin DPI Substitute License
  
  

• Flexibility, professionalism, and reliability
  
  

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  
  

• Commitment to student safety, learning, and inclusion

Schedule & Compensation:

• Monday–Friday, on student attendance days
  
  

• Hours: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
