Facility Maintenance Technician
Location: District wide
Days/Hours: (Full-time Year-round) Monday – Friday
8 hour shift - Days -- Hours vary dependent on District needs

Brief Description of Minimum Requirements for the Position:
> Perform building repairs and cleaning services, as necessary to maintain the status of a safe, clean, healthful, environment.
> Ensure proper staffing of building for special events, sports activities, and building rentals.
> Remove snow, cut grass, deliver items, operate equipment, and perform related assigned tasks as required.
> This position will provide support and supervision of housekeeping staff.
> Ensure that the building is properly secured.
> Perform and record preventive maintenance, casualty prevention, and all general repair tasks as needed or directed
Graduation from a standard or vocational high school with a valid driver’s license; three years experience in the maintenance trade areas; considerable knowledge of custodial cleaning and building maintenance duties and responsibilities, including methods for performing electrical, HVAC, plumbing, painting, pool operations, and carpentry work; knowledge of proper safety precautions necessary when performing custodial and building maintenance work; ability to use hand and power tools in the performance of building maintenance upkeep; and good communication and customer service skills, time management and supervision is required.
