We are seeking a highly qualified and student-centered educator to join our high school science department as a long-term substitute teacher.
Position Summary
Prescott High School is seeking a Long-Term Substitute Science Teacher beginning in March 2026 and concluding in early June 2026. The primary instructional responsibility will be Chemistry, with one section of Physics. The successful candidate will provide continuity of instruction, maintain established curricular expectations, and foster a safe, engaging, and rigorous learning environment for all students.
Qualifications

Must hold, or be eligible to hold, a valid Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (DPI) teaching license in Science.

Strong content knowledge in Chemistry; experience or coursework in Physics preferred.

Ability to build positive relationships and interact in a constructive, professional manner with students, staff, families, and the broader school community.

Commitment to high academic expectations, effective classroom management, and student engagement.
