Full Time
Parkview School District is seeking a full-time Special Education Teacher. Candidate must have a valid Wisconsin teaching license in Special Education - Cross Categorical. The position is at the Parkview Jr./Sr. High School.
The candidate must have the ability to deliver quality instruction to students that yields strong academic growth and achievement; write effective IEPs and BIPs in compliance with State/Federal laws; create lesson plans based on needs and abilities of individual students; adapt instructional methods based on IEPs; establish and maintain effective relationships with students, colleagues and parents. Perform multiple tasks simultaneously; maintain accurate records including IEP compliance; work in fast-paced, fluid environment; take personal responsibility for IEP compliance including Notification of Meetings, Timeline Waivers, Parental Safeguards and accurate and timely completion of IEPs; complete and submit IEPS, forms and required reports within expected time frames.
Must be able to: stand and walk for extended periods of time; integrate into a student's learning: smart boards, projectors, iPads, computers and educational apps and software along with other instructional technology provided by the district.
