The School District of La Crosse is accepting applications for a 1.0 FTE (8 hours per day) School Nutrition Employee/Cook at Logan High School. Projected start date: January 5, 2026
Position responsibilities:
Serve as cashier on line using automated Skyward program, general food preparation, serving and clean-up, work in storeroom and clean equipment. Must be able to operate all equipment in kitchen and practice work simplification techniques and work independently. Will be reaching, carrying, pushing, bending, stooping, crouching, and lifting and handling items weighing up to 40 pounds when performing duties. Will be standing and walking. Other duties may be assigned.

• SNA Level 1 Certification is required within 18 months of employment date. Maintaining certification is the responsibility of the School Nutrition Employee.

• Will be standing and walking most of the day.
