We are seeking an experienced School Nutrition employee to start in the 2026 calendar year. The position is at Dickinson Elementary School from 10:00 am - 1:00 pm each school day. Wage of $16.64 per hour. Paid leave benefits of paid sick leave, paid personal leave, and paid holidays.

1. High school degree / GED two years of progressive occupational experience or directly related Associate Degree and one year of progressive occupation experience.
2. Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
3. Math skills at an effective level of tenth grade.
4. Ability to operate kitchen appliances and equipment associated with bulk food preparation and clean up, i.e., mixers, slicers, steam tables, blenders, dish washers, and the like.
5. Ability to move 50 pounds of prepared food and supplies, and to pile and stack inventory as required. Physical capabilities include bending, twisting, repetitive side-to-side motion and repetitive wrist motion, as well as the ability to reach, carry, push, pull, lift and handle item(s) weighing up to 50 pounds while performing work duties. Position requires unrestricted mobility on a regular and consistent basis for the majority of the workday.
6. Ability to deal with time constraints and the public.
7. For those driving, appropriate valid Wisconsin driver’s license with a good driving record (standard insurability).
8. Demonstrable ability to work with children of the appropriate age as evidenced by prior experience with youth.
9. Successful completion of ServSafe course.
Additional “Preferred” Qualifications:
1. Additional training and/or experience in bulk food preparation and/or serving.
2. Specific training in nutrition, food safety and hygiene.
3. Minimum one year related work experience.
