Marinette Primary School is seeking a Literacy Intervention Support Educational Associate (EA). The position will be responsible for supporting and assisting in literacy interventions necessary to meet the personal and academic needs of students, under the direction of the Literacy Quality Assurance Specialist. Position offers 5.75 hours per day.

Responsibilities Include:
Assist with evaluation and progress-monitoring of student performance
Assists in the coordination of reading instruction designed to meet individual needs of students
Provides small group interventions for literacy

1. High School Diploma.
2. Knowledge of child growth and development.
3. Ability to enunciate clearly and communicate positively throughout the work day.
4. Knowledge of the teaching-learning process.
5. Ability to work with people of various personality types.
6. Knowledge of classroom management techniques.
7. Completed two years study at an institution of higher education, or obtained a least an associate’s degree.
8. Met a rigorous standard of quality and demonstrate knowledge via assessment knowledge of instruction, reading, writing and math.
