Long Term Substitute - Speech Language Therapist - Vacancy ID: 250405

The School District of Lodi is seeking a long term substitute Speech Language Therapist from April 13, 2026 through June 4, 2026. The substitute will provide speech and language therapy as outlined in the Individualized Education Plan to students in Pre-K through 2nd grade. Therapy takes place individually, in small groups, and in the general education classroom.

 

The substitute will complete initial evaluations and reevaluations using informal and formal assessments according to the evaluation criteria, be an active team member in evaluation and IEP meetings, create strong working relationships with students and families, and case manage a group of students. The ability to speak Spanish is desired but not required.

 

• The ability to provide quality speech and language therapy to pre-school and school-aged children with a wide range of disabilities
• Strong skills in the development and implementation of students’ IEPs, in organization, and in data collection
• The ability to work and communicate effectively as part of a team and with parents and staff
