Position: Long-Term Substitute Teacher – Mathematics
Location: Prescott High School, Prescott, WI

Summary:
Prescott High School is seeking a dedicated and student-centered Long-Term Substitute Math Teacher to join our team for the final months of the 2025–26 school year. This position will cover courses in Algebra I, Statistics, and AP Calculus. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about teaching math and committed to helping students grow in both skill and confidence.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging, standards-aligned instruction in Algebra I, Statistics, and AP Calculus.

  • Maintain a positive and supportive classroom environment focused on learning and growth.

  • Collaborate with department colleagues and utilize existing curriculum and resources.

  • Assess student understanding and provide meaningful feedback.

  • Communicate effectively with students, families, and staff.

Supports Provided:
Prescott High School values collaboration and support. The selected candidate will receive guidance from the math department team, access to established course materials, and ongoing support from school administration and instructional coaches.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Wisconsin teaching license in Mathematics (grades 9–12) or Wisconsin substitute license.

  • Strong content knowledge and a passion for teaching mathematics.

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
