The Xavier Catholic School System is seeking individuals interested in Substitute Teaching for the 2025-2026 Academic School Year.
- Qualified candidates must have earned at least a Bachelor's degree OR hold a Wisconsin Department of Instruction Three-year Short-Term Substitute teaching license which would include the minimum education requirement of an Associates Degree from an accredited college or university and completion of an approved Substitute Training Program, such as CESA-6 (https://www.cesa6.org/services/substitute-teachers/)
- A Substitute Teaching certification is not necessary but may be helpful. If you are interested in Substitute Teacher training, please view the training program offered by CESA-6: https://www.cesa6.org/services/substitute-teachers/overview.cfm.
As a substitute for Xavier Catholic Schools, you will have the flexibility to indicate your grade-level and campus preference, days of the week availability, and subjects you would feel comfortable teaching.
St. Francis Xavier Catholic School System is a PK-12 Catholic school system located in Appleton, WI. serving the greater Fox Valley region in the Catholic Diocese of Green Bay. The System maintains 2 elementary campuses (PK-4), a middle school (5-8) and a high school (9-12), with a total annual enrollment of approximately 1500 students. We are a Christ-centered community dedicated to the faith formation, academic excellence, community engagement, and individual growth of our students in a safe environment.
