Rio Middle/High School is seeking a long term substitute Agriculture Education Teacher to fill a long-term position during our second semester. The position will run from approximately March 9th until the end of the school year. This position requires teaching the following classes: Wisconsin Outdoors, Middle School Exploratory, Ag Leadership, Farm to Table, Cooking 101, and team teaching middle school math. The long-term substitute will also assist in advising the FFA. Qualified candidates should have a background in agriculture education or science, enjoy building relationships with students, families and the community, be able to implement best practices in the classroom, use successful behavior management techniques, and meet the diverse needs of learners. This is a great opportunity for a recent graduate, or someone looking to get into the field of agriculture sciences. Rio Middle/ High School has a great peer coaching team to support our new staff members.
