Are you seeking a rewarding Part Time job? We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting individuals with disabilities, providing guidance and support to enhance their employment skills. The candidate will provide support to individuals in their various work settings and assist them with learning their job tasks and work goals.

Responsibilities

• Assist a person with a disability to understand all aspects of their position.
• May break down tasks into manageable steps.
• Responsible for facilitating client/employee confidence in performing job independently.
• Provide support in completing tasks, including modeling appropriate skills and behaviors as needed.
• Must follow work rules of each employer/workplace and always present a professional demeanor.
• Provide clear communication, including both written and verbal.
• Promote integration and natural supports at places of employment.
• Communicates with the individual, employer, case manager, support team and others as defined by the individual support plan.

Skills

• Willingness to work with individuals with disabilities.
• Sensitivity to the needs of individuals with disabilities
• Ability to stand and/or walk for up to 5 hours a day.
• Ability to communicate clearly, in both written and verbal forms.
• Ability to evaluate and problem solve at the work site.
