Qualifications:
Education
a. High School Diploma (minimum)
Experience
a. Prefer work-related experience in food service industry as well as in food service/preparation.
b. Prefer work or leadership experience working with school-aged children.
Health
a. Must be able to pass a school employee physical.
Management
a. Must be able to maintain requested records, forms and other information as requested in an acceptable and timely manner.
b. Must be able to adjust to various situations as required by various student behaviors and/or special needs.
c. Must follow all laws, regulations, rules, policies and guidelines related to the position now in effect or becomes effective at a later date.
d. Skilled in filing, sorting, categorizing, organization of materials; collect, account and make daily deposits for lunch program, and be accountable for the computerized lunch cashier program.

Job Description: This position is for a Food Service Cook at Sand Lake Elementary for 7 hours per day, from 6:00 am to 1:30 pm (on days students are present). Position requires employee to multitask and work with speed and accuracy.
Reports To: Director of Nutrition Services
Employment Terms: 7 hours per day on days students are present. Salary, benefits and Employment Terms per the Employee Handbook.
